Ruler
Addedomaros · c. 45–25 BC (coins); some writers extend his rule to about 10 BC
Known only from coins; first named ruler north of Thames
Addedomaros is known only from his coins: no Roman writer names him. He seems to have been the first ruler north of the Thames to put his name on coins, and this carries it round the horse. His coins are found mostly in Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Essex, so he may have ruled the , the , or both. Some have suggested that the rich Lexden Tumulus burial near Colchester was his grave; that is one reading only.,,
Known for Being the first named ruler on the gold coins of the North Thames region, a generation before Tasciovanos and Cunobelin.
