Ruler
Andoco · c. 25 BC–AD 10 (coins)
Known only from coins; probably under or alongside Tasciovanos
Andoco is known only from his coins, which carry the name in short forms such as ANDO and ANDOCO; the full name is unknown, and Evans's Andocomius was a provisional guess. His coins look like those of Tasciovanos, king of the at Verlamion (St Albans), and are found in the same region, so he is thought to have ruled alongside or under Tasciovanos; one type carries both names. This copies a quarter stater of Tasciovanos almost exactly, with the horse turned to the left; Evans noted that its weight is exactly a quarter of Andoco's .,,,
Known for Gold, silver and bronze coins naming ANDO or ANDOCO, closely copying the coins of Tasciovanos.
