East Wiltshire group

An unnamed people of the Vale of Pewsey area who struck uninscribed base gold staters, gold quarter staters and silver units for a short time in the later 1st century BC; first suggested by Derek Allen (1961) and argued from the coins by Paul Robinson (1977), they were probably absorbed by the Dobunni.
